Polis Pulau Pinang mengesahkan penyanyi popular Korea Selatan, Psy, yang membuat persembahan di negeri ini minggu lalu menerima ugutan bunuh. Salah satu petikan akhbar menyatakan Psy menerima ugutan tersebut pada jam 8 malam iaitu sehari sebelum persembahannya di Pulau Pinang. Pesanan yang diterima dari  pesanan ringkas SMS dariapda pengurus Psy, telah membuatkan pihak polis lebih berjaga dan memastikan keselamatan penyanyi itu terjamin.

Psy yang hadir ke Pulau Pinang untuk membuat persembahan sempena Progam Rumah Terbuka Tahun Baru Cina 1Malaysia pada 11 Februari lalu terpaksa dikawal ketat oleh pihak polis bagi memastikan tiada perkara tidak diingini terjadi. Kes ini sangat memalukan Malaysia di mata dunia dan sikap tidak professional rakyat Malaysia ini perlulah di hindari daripada berulang lagi.
